  4. This program is for informational purposes only.
  5. Overclocking any component on your computer can 
  6. cause severe damage to your system and it's 
  7. components.
  8.  
  9.  
  10. This program makes no changes to your system. It does
  11. not change any system settings, especially those
  12. related to overclocking. Its just a calculator.

  16. WHAT THIS PROGRAM DOES :
  17. Overclocking Calculator calculates CPU speeds, PCI bus speed,
  18. and the AGP bus speed based on the information it is given
  19. to work with.
  20.  
  21. For instance, if your FSB (Front Side Bus) is set to
  22. 100 mhz, and your CPU multiplier is set to 8, your CPU
  23. will be running at 800 mhz. 
  24. It will also tell you what your PCI bus speed will 
  25. be if you set the PCI multiplier to 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 or any
  26. other setting at any range of bus speeds. It will also
  27. give you the same type of information for the AGP bus.

  29. Most setting can be added or removed through the Settings
  30. options.

  32. In short, its basically a single function calulator :)

  36. PROGRAM USAGE :

  38. FSB Low End and FSB Top End :
  39.   Set the range of possible Front Side Bus Speeds
  40.  
  41. CPU Multiplier :
  42.   The multiplier for your CPU. On most modern CPUs this is
  43.   locked and cannot be changed.

  47. BUTTONS

  49. Go Button : 
  50.   After you have your values set, click this button to
  51.   get the values for PCI and AGP bus speed at various
  52.   multipliers.
  53.  
  54. Settings :
  55.   Set the defaults for FSB Low End, FSB Top End, CPU Multiplier.
  56.   Add or delete values for AGP and PCI multipliers.
  57.   Values added for AGP and PCI multipliers MUST be in
  58.   this format : x/x
  59.   Values added for CPU multiplier MUST be added in 
  60.   this format : x.x

  63.   Save either selected or all data. (added in version 1.1)
